Travel Necessities

Updated: Jul 27, 2021

Are you connected to the Wellness With Gina and Audrey Facebook Page? Audrey and I went live in Facebook to share our tips for traveling. Audrey currently lives in England and flew 10.5 hours to come to our nutrition conference in Austin! So we thought it was a perfect time to chat with you about prevention and traveling. Our page is everything health and wellness related. If you want to hear about a topic, just drop us a message and let us know. We love hearing from you!

MUST HAVES WHEN YOU TRAVEL

1. Drink all the water

  • By now you know you're supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces every day.

  • Traveling actually dehydrates you so drink up! Yes that means you actually need more water.

2. Propolis Spray

  • This is a staple in my house (just like my Juice Plus)!

  • Cold and flu season is here so my family is armed with propolis spray for this season's germs.

  • You can find my favorite brand here. Their honey is also delicious

3. Eye Mask

  • On those long flights or when you're sharing a hotel room, an eye mask can be a life saver!

4. Sleep Phones

  • A must for me while I'm traveling to block out the nighttime noise. My favorite sleep phones bluetooth to your phone, so you can listen to any kind of music or sound that you love. I use the White Noise App that can be found in your app store.

  • You can find my favorite Sleep Phones on Amazon.

5. Juice Plus

  • Double up your Juice Plus before you leave and while you're on vacation.

  • No one gets enough fruits and veggies. We need these on the regular, but you need even more when you're out of routine and stressing your body with lack of sleep and more!

6. Noise Cancelling Headphones

  • Noise cancelling headphones may seem like a silly luxury item until you're on a 10 hour flight with an angry infant behind you.

  • We know you can't help it parents! So let's be prepared travelers.

  • Get quality headphones that really do the trick, connect with bluetooth and travel well.

  • These are my favorite but I'll admit a little bulky to pack.

.

7. B12

  • Being a health coach, I get asked all the time for recommendations on supplements.

  • As a plant based eater, it's tough for me to get all that I need so I do supplement this one. Be choosy when it comes to what goes into your body! Do your homework and choose the one that's right for you.

Traveling is so much fun but can be stressful for your body. Be prepared when you go on your next trip to have fun and come back healthy
